Of things to come...

  • I ran the solar yesterday to take the edge off the chill in the house.
  • I could see my breath this morning when I took the dog out.
  • I had to wear a fleece to work.
  • I had to turn the heat on in the car for my drive in this morning.
  • And soup sounds delightful again.

The cool crispness of fall is so refreshing to me. It is my favorite season. Football, leaf changing, and the crispness in the air seems to liven up everything after a smothering hot summer. Love it.

Yes! I made vegetable soup and applesauce yesterday, and they both tasted so good.

I agree! We made piping hot chili and smothered potatoes in it to keep our chilly fingers toasty.

We left the windows in the bedroom open all night. When I got up and it was in the upper 30s, I decided it was time to get out the down comforter. So now we can keep the windows open for longer.

I'm loving this weather too. I just wish it would stay like this. We're going to have to get our down comforter soon too. :)

he hee heee LOL same changes going on here!

Fall is my favorite season with spring wildflowers being my second favorite. Not fond of heat so this feels great, though I was actually COLD yesterday.

I think we should all go over to jo(e)'s for soup and applesauce. jo(e)?
