Bubble Tea

I found out yesterday that there is a teahouse in my city. Who knew? Apparently it's been there almost five years! Sis and I had to pay a visit to sample the bubble teas. I've always enjoyed tapioca, so I couldn't resist having it in my tea. How could you go wrong? You can't! So tasty! I can't wait to go back and try some of their other teas and maybe that coconutty dessert.

Ooh, that looks really interesting and refreshing. I have heard about the tapioca drinks but have never had it. Does that tea have caffeine? Maybe I can find some out here?

How fun! I'm glad you went and had a good time.

We had a lovely, big teahouse here ourselves, and I bought a Restaurant.com certificate for it - but it closed recently before we coudl use it! Wah!

Val, this tea-house does offer them in non-caffeinated varieties. The pink one in the picture is caffeine-free, made with raspberry herbal tea. The brown one is made with black tea (with caffeine). Both very tasty!

Call me crazy--I love tea--but I've never heard of "bubble tea"! I'll have to try it.
