Two Fall Walks

I went on two walks this week that look like they took place in different seasons, but alas, that is just fall in Central New York. Both were slow going, but at least I was outside and walking. Getting myself off the couch and out of the house is a major hurdle, but being outside in nature is almost always worth the effort. Now, if only I could remember that the next time I'm considering a walk in the woods.

How pretty it all looks! What a wonderful place to go for a walk. :-)

Okay, you're blogging again and I didn't know it?! Shame on me!

I'm with you on not loving BBQ. Blech.

The train view is (was) beautiful!

I don't like frosting, least of all vanilla. That you can still stand it while with child is something of an amazement to me!

What was it like being at the 9/11 Memorial site?

Wow, yes they do look like different seasons. And oops, I commented there ^ ^ ^ on the wrong post, that was supposed to be your NYC trip comment. :P

The 9/11 Memorial is so striking and moving with the pools of water where the buildings used to be. The museum is crowded and over-whelming, and as such, I got less out of it than expected. I would've preferred just to experience the Memorial site, without the museum, honestly. (Plus, the museum is pricey.) But I was also exhausted from all the walking and really just wanted to sit down.
