I have experienced good weather guilt for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure where it originated, but anytime the weather is nice I feel a constant sense of guilt if I do not get outside to take advantage of it. Perhaps it is related to the fact that our weather in these parts is rather foul- cold & snowy or hot & humid. Good days are sometimes few and far between.
Fortunately, today was another gorgeous day with sunshine and abnormally mild temperatures. After I dropped the little puppy off at the vet for her surgery tomorrow and picked up my car from the mechanic (am I made of money, people?), I took Older Dog for our normal neighborhood walk. Lots of people were out walking their dogs, washing their cars, and doing yard work. It felt great to get out and stretch my legs.
And yet, the guilt is returning. I really ought to be outside picking up sticks or trash from the yard instead of blogging. Sigh.

Not sure about your neck of the woods but it's supposed to be even nicer here tomorrow in Chicagoland. I had the warm weather high going today. To the park, to the gym, out with the big wheel on the sidewalk while daddy cleaned the gutter. All windows open all day and still. The last 3-4 weeks it has been very crappy here and we have been sick so stuck inside or to the store as our noses ran and we coughed up a lung. Hope you get out soon. I did pick up sticks and yanked out all kinds of dead plants and stems from last year. I won't lie, it was heaven. Maybe tomorrow?
I guess I know what you mean. But to me, good weather = swimming, and it's just not time for that yet! LOL
Is it a spay surgery, I hope, and not something more serious? Good luck, pup!
Huh... seems like since you got in a good walk with the dog, you shouldn't feel guilty about being inside. I'm sure if you were gallavanting about outdoors all day you'd feel guilty about neglecting your homework, too. But I do know what you mean.
Hope the surgery goes well. Our dogs went to the vet today, but just for an annual check-up. Expensive.
I feel that way a lot, and Also--if I don';t get out for a little pleasure walk (as well as some work) on a nice day, I feel downright CHEATED! (and a bit angry!)
Hope you find time for both school work and yardwork AND pleasure.
