Weekending

This past weekend was for...

... hanging out at the tiki bar listening to live music

... hiking with my nephew and sister ... finding baby painted turtles ... seeing water snakes and garter snakes and leopard frogs

... Thai iced tea and coconut ice cream

... a solo walk on a trail through a swamp without a single mosquito in evidence (YET) and enjoying every second of peace

... finishing Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Linking up with Amanda at the habit of being.

time spent outdoors with nary a mosquito in sight sounds perfect - we're already fighting them :(

No pics of the frogs and snakes. I tried snapping one of some small bullheads, but it didn't come out.

The book was a bit stressful but ended well. I don't think I would recommend the series to you, but you very well might like it if you could somehow get past the violence.
