I'm afraid I may be coming down with something. My eyeballs are hot and dry. My chest aches. There seems to be some extra phlegm.
I don't care if it's just an old wives' tale; I can't help but think that getting soaked to the skin twice in one week hasn't helped.

My father was a firm believer in the fact that sitting in a draft or getting soaked causes a cold. I was always pretty hardy and did not seem to get sick when I got wet or cold, but it definitely drains your resources and if you are stressed anyway, then I would say, yup==it could push you over the edge.
So sorry to hear that--I hate being sick. And studies show that chicken soup does help--and OJ too.
And vitamin C. And echinacea! Gypsy cold care tea. Grape juice.
Get better!
I get the same symptoms when I am forced to watch golf on television. Even extra beers don’t help. When I get home I switch the tube to the Playboy Channel to ease the discomfort. Try that, but not alone, if possible. Electronic assistance, if not.
