It started during my junior year of high school, or wait maybe it was my sophomore year. It doesn't really matter, but I can remember sitting in whichever science it was (chemistry or physics) as the skin beneath my left eye pulsed. Ever since then, it's been a pretty good indication of my stress levels. Twitching eye equals stress.
Less than two weeks into the semester and I'm feeling it. It's busy season at work too. The upcoming certification exams loom large. The weather and lack of physical activity keep me feeling low.
And then I found out someone has made fraudulent purchases with my credit card account.
Twitch, twitch.

Aieeee!
Wahn! Sorry about the stress.
I used to get that.
I rarely do any more.
Oh, NO! Sorry about te CC. I hope you're able to get it all straightened out...
I get them a lot, too. I like them, though!
Oh, I hate that. I get it too. Seems like caffeine doesn't help either, think it makes it worse. I would like it looked really funny too but rarely/hardly did. Try to find some time in your day for a little relaxation, that helps me sometimes but have to force myself to do it :)
Ah, the eye twitch. Yup I got one too - though last year I also developed a lip twitch - luckily they don't happen at the same time - yet. Only happens when my stress levels are EXTREME and I'm lacking sleep - that sort of thing.
Hope you can rest up and destress soon!
I get the eye twitch too... that is when I know I need to take a deep breath and calm down.
Drives me insane though!
I get that too, but I never realized it was stress-induced. I have to start paying more attention to that now.
I'm sending this comment with some relaxation vibes for you! :)
Interesting. I hadn't made the connection about lack of sleep, but my eye has been much better today after finally getting some sleep last night. Of course, I'm not sure one good night of sleep a week is enough...
Thanks for the relaxation vibes! :-)
When my wife gets the twitchy eye, I lock up all the knives and hide the gun, and she eats the first bite of food. I guess I can push her stress button a little.
Oh, dear...not the dreaded twitch! I wear stress in my right shoulder.
Hope this is all cleared up--the CC and the eye twitch.
