Murphy's Law

Things that you don't want to happen when your best friend from Colorado is visiting for one afternoon:
  • steady, heavy rain - I'd been hoping to go to Pretty Color Lake or Small Glacier Lake for a nice walk. We settled for wandering around campus and the cemetery in the rain (which turned out to be rather nice after all).
  • having to run to the bathroom multiple times while on campus - "Uh, why don't you wait here in the hall while I pop into the bathroom. Again." Not fun.
  • two huge zits - Since I went back on the pill in March my skin has been much improved. I'm blaming the oral presentation I had to give in class on Monday night for the eruption of these two monstrosities. Needless to say, between the rain and the zits, not so many photos were taken.

You know your friendship rocks when none of this matters though, as long as you're together.

Yay! for good friends. I have one of those horrible deep-skinned painful cheek zits now. They are so horrid. And I've been walking around int he rain for the last three days. Many sympathies on the other woes as well.

I’m glad you had a good time with your friend regardless of the rain and zits and bladder/colon problem and stuff. If I were with you none of that would matter either – as long as you walked three feet in front of me and pretended we didn’t know each other.

LOL! Coffeypot's comments are hilarious. My kids used to do that to me in the mall--I wonder if they had any idea how it made me feel. LOL!

So sorry about the issues. Boy, what a pain, glad you were loved and loving anyway.

I love good friends! YAY!

mst - thanks for stopping by the coffeypot. I went over to your site, and omg. Which one of the thirty or forty sites do I go to for your everyday, general comments? I already spend a good hour or two everyday reading the blogs from my blog role. I don’t have another hour to devote to reading all of yours. Help, please. And I’m glad you got a chuckle – that’s my intent.

OOPS! Sorry, Nadine. I though I was still on my blog.

Coffeypot, I believe MST's main blog is No Polar Coordinates.
