Freecycle

After reading about Momma Val's Freecyclin' experiences, I re-googled and discovered there is a Freecycle group in my region. I just joined the group, so now I may be looking at my clutter with a new eye. What can I give away?

I wish I'd known about this group when we were cleaning out my grandmother's house. I'm sure there would've been a few takers on some of the things that got thrown out. Oh well, live and learn and take inspiration from fellow bloggers. Right?!

Oh, man, you didn't know about Freecyle?!! Dude, we've been on it for years here. We give away so much crap, it's wonderful - and have gotten a few great finds in return, too. Beware, though, there are plenty of unscrupulous people on those lists. Have fun Freecyclin'!

I knew about it for quite a while, but wasn't hooked into it and didn't know how to do it. Gail gave a away a lot of stuff when she was moving and before that too,, including a famous shoe worn by some famous person--I forget the details now. I do wish I'd gotten hooked into it.

Freecycle is the best. You'd be shocked at what people will come haul away. I recently had someone come take away our broken fridge. I completely disclosed everything wrong with it and how it keeps breaking down. Still, I had 3 people asking for it and the first one to respond rushed right over to get it the next day.

LOL, Grean Bean, I wonder if someone would come get my ancient hot water heater? It's just collecting dust...
