Because, obviously, they must issue these uniforms along with the MLS degree.
I expected better from Target. Besides, what do the male librarians wear?(There was an interesting discussion over at the Library Garden on this costume last Friday. I find myself agreeing with Peter Bromberg's take on the whole thing. Check it out.)

I'm not sure how much you should expect from Target, really. They do seek profit, after all, and that tends to corrupt. They offer a wide array of naughty costumes, librarian being one of the "funniest" though.
I do hope that when you starting working at the library, you will wear that costume every day. (Sarcasm mode on)
Cute though. I did read some of the discussion though I couldn't find Peter Bromberg's entry, or whoever it was, only female entries. I read portions about sereotypes and their effects etc (by Marie), but today is Keith's birthday and I have a zillion things to do. Maybe I'll get back to it later.
It's been grey and rainy here for several days, hope it's nicer there.
