A little distance can go a long way

Casey mentioned that men find vaginas scary.

In the article, it discusses how men experience a loss of mystery and attraction to their lady friends after seeing them go through labor.

I would like to point out that seeing a man clip his toenails can have a similar effect.

Some things should not be shared. There is such a thing as being too close. Because when things get cozy, I can't help it if my brain pictures the bad things instead of the good.

So, I would propose a solution. If you could leave the livingroom for clipping and picking, I will do my tweezing and waxing behind closed doors.

Yah, toenails. That doesn't sound good. But he's thinking, hey, you already wax and tweeze behind closed doors... what's in it for me? Or maybe not, hard to tell what goes on in there. I prefer to do my clipping outside, but it doesn't work so well this time of year.

I had a coworker who clipped his finger nails in his office. I could hear it through the thin walls and it totally grossed me out. I was not very fond of this particular coworker so it made it even worse! Gross.

At least there was a wall! I share an office with 3-4 other people and one of them has been known to clip his nails at his desk. On some days, his existance feels like a sufficent reason to seek new employment.

Don't really have an issue with the nail clipping. My first husband brought home a friend one time though. And this guy sat on our couch, pulled off his socks and shoes and began picking at his toes while he sat there and talked to us. GROSS!!! He was banned from the house after that. Come to think of it, I should have kicked them both out.

As far as clipping toenails go I am lucky in that I am a diabetic. My insurance pays for me to see a Podiatrist every three months. Feet problems (loss of feeling, etc) are common with diabetes and part of the visit is a pedicure by the doctor’s assistant. Oils and rubdowns and the whole works. And it’s free! Well, there is a $20 co-pay, but I would have to pay that anyway.
Back in the day I dated a woman who liked to pop zits. She would look for them on my back, fact, legs, anywhere. I felt we looked like two apes in the zoo grooming each other. But I was zit free.

Coffeypot! Yuck! I've been asked to pop zits, but that definitely crosses the line (my line anyway).

I don't think toenails should be cut in the livingroom, but I don't mind seeing them cut properly in the proper place.
