For Ages 9 and up

I just read the first 70 pages of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett during my lunch hour. Obviously, I've read the book many times before but it's been a long, long time. I'm so glad that I actually decided to follow through on my annual plan to reread it. What a charming story. I am anxious to continue, but work must be attended to.

I'm also anxious to see my crocuses bloom. I understand that they are blooming for others, so maybe mine will follow soon.

Glad you able to look forward to the colors of Spring. It's what I am clinging to right now.

I almost started reading that on Sunday, but I knew I wouldn't have time to finish and my copy is a wee musty. I didn't want to be carting it around in my purse, so I started The Hungry Tide instead. And then forgot to bring it to work with me every day this week. Stupid, stupid, stupid. You'll have to enjoy it enough for the both of us.
