More Hoops

I just received a phone call from a second appraiser to make an appointment to see the house. Tonight. Obviously, I won't be doing any cleaning before she does her inspection.

The mortgage company apparently didn't think it was worth mentioning to me that I was required to have a second appraisal because the purchase is between family members. Um, a little heads up would've been nice.

So even though I thought I was in the clear, now I have to go through this all over again. WTF?!

I still haven't gotten the paperwork back from one of the contractors either. How hard can it be? Sign your name and be done with it already! You are holding up my mortgage, you fool.

And not surprisingly, the dumpster hasn't moved an inch. Take it away! Now!

Aieee! Delays, delays, delays, how utterly frustrating! AK!

"Welcome to the real world!" I had a friend who would always say that to me when I complained about stuff like this. (I still complain, but I've chosen new friends.) I get so frustrated with incompetance in others (and unfortunately, in myself as well.)

I hope the second appraiser isn't a jerk.

I am in the process of securing a mortgage for the house I've been living in since January. It belongs to my parents, and is one of the houses I lived in while growing up.

(That's the short version. Does it help?)
